These Terms and Conditions of Sale govern purchases made on the website panificioperronematera.sbs, operated by Panificio Perrone dal 1890.

Before placing an order, customers are invited to read these terms carefully.

Purpose

The website allows the online purchase of artisanal food products — fresh, dry, and packaged — made or selected by Panificio Perrone dal 1890, with delivery to Italy and to the following countries: Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain, and France.

Products

Product images are for illustrative purposes only. As these are artisanal products, there may be slight differences in shape, colour, weight, appearance, or packaging compared to the images shown on the website.

Panificio Perrone dal 1890 is committed to describing products as accurately as possible.

Some fresh, artisanal products, including Pane di Matera in the enabled formats, are also available for sale in the foreign markets listed above.

Prices and markets

All prices are shown in euros.

The website automatically detects, through the user's geographic location, the market the visitor is browsing from, and displays the prices set for that country. The final price and availability are, in any case, determined by the delivery country selected at checkout.

Prices in foreign markets may include surcharges compared to the Italian price, which vary by country and are shown to the customer before the order is confirmed.

Shipping costs, if applicable, are shown at checkout before the order is confirmed.

Panificio Perrone dal 1890 reserves the right to change prices at any time. Orders already confirmed will be honoured at the price shown at the time of purchase.

Minimum order for shipments abroad

For Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain, and France, a minimum order of €49.90 applies, referring to the product subtotal and excluding shipping costs. Below this threshold, checkout will not allow the purchase to be completed. This rule does not apply to Italy.

Orders

An order is considered received once the customer completes the purchase process on the website.

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided, including personal data, shipping address, email, and phone number.

Panificio Perrone dal 1890 reserves the right to cancel or refuse orders in the case of incomplete data, failed payment, product unavailability, or order irregularities.

Payment

Available payment methods are shown during checkout. The order is processed once payment is confirmed.

Shipping and pickup

Orders are carefully prepared and shipped once all purchased products are available. If an order contains products with different preparation times, shipment will take place once the entire order is complete.

When the ordered products are available, the order is generally prepared and handed over to the courier within 24/48 hours of production or baking, in line with the scheduled shipping days. In some cases, especially when the order includes fresh, artisanal, or not immediately available products, shipment may take place within a maximum of 7 working days from the order date.

Shipments are made via GLS to Italy, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain (for the destinations actually served), and France (with rates that vary by postal code, excluding Corsica).

For Italy, shipments are made on Mondays and Tuesdays, excluding public holidays. For Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain, and France, orders are handed over to GLS exclusively on Mondays, except in the case of public holidays or exceptional circumstances, in order to protect the quality of fresh products over the weekend.

Orders not ready by the relevant shipping day may be shipped starting from the next available day.

Orders with a total product weight over 35 kg are not handled automatically by the website.

In-store pickup is also available, according to the arrangements indicated at the time of purchase.

Right of withdrawal, returns, and refunds

The products sold are artisanal food products — fresh, dry, or packaged — often prepared to order.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the right of withdrawal may be excluded for fresh, perishable, opened, incomplete food products, products made to order, or products that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons. Detailed terms, including cases in which the right of withdrawal remains applicable, are set out in the Refund Policy.

These rules apply to customers in Italy and in the foreign markets served (Germany, Belgium, Austria, Spain, and France), without prejudice to any mandatory provisions of consumer protection law applicable in the customer's country.

Any issues relating to damaged, incorrect, missing, or non-conforming products will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, as described in the Refund Policy.

Allergens and food information

Customers are invited to carefully read the information provided on product pages.

In case of allergies, intolerances, or specific dietary needs, customers are invited to contact us before purchasing.

Products may be made in environments where allergenic ingredients are present or handled.

For customers in foreign markets, mandatory food information (name, ingredients, allergens, quantity, storage instructions) is made available in a language that is easily understood before completing the purchase.

Limitation of liability

Panificio Perrone dal 1890 is not liable for delays or disruptions caused by events beyond its control, including courier issues, weather conditions, strikes, public holidays, technical outages, incorrect addresses, absence of the recipient, or force majeure.

Governing law and competent court

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Italian law.

For disputes involving consumers residing in Italy or in other European Union countries, the applicable consumer protection law and its related jurisdictional safeguards remain in force, including the possibility for the consumer to bring proceedings before the courts of their own country of residence, in accordance with EU rules on jurisdiction.
